Melissa Toledo Photography provides Portrait, Life Style and Event Photography services for businesses, organizations and individuals. On photo shoots, Melissa is a skilled and encouraging guide. Her eye for beauty, composition, and use of dramatic lighting generate fantastic shots that can be used in advertising, marketing materials, and portfolios.
Originally from New York City, Melissa now calls Portland, OR her home. She lives close to downtown in NE with her husband, daughter, a bunch of fish, and her adorable cats, Lady Gaga and Suka. Melissa has always been “the one” with the camera taking pictures of those around her and at events. In Middle School, she got the position as the Photographer for the school’s yearbook and has ever since been incorporating photography into her work.
Fast forward through Melissa’s 20-year career as a Graphic Designer, and you will have seen countless jobs where her photography has graced the finished product for her clients. Today, Melissa has opened her own Photography Studio in the heart of the Industrial District in Downtown Portland. When she isn’t in her studio shooting Fashion Portraits, you might catch a glimpse of her in “the pit” at a Runway show or on the streets of Portland with a model or two shooting her signature urban style.
